Your Guide to North America's Largest Advanced Design And Manufacturing Event

Optimizing your time at an event of this size and scope means having a plan of action. To make it easy, we’ve added helpful tips and tricks in one place for quick reference. Learn how to schedule appointments, prepare for arrival, find your way on-site, and more.

Before You Arrive

  • Set up My Show Planner: Save products, suppliers, and sessions you want to see in one place with My Show Planner. Create a login then hit the "+" when you see something you like.
  • Download the mobile app: Sync your My Show Planner schedule to the show app and carry it with you. The app has other handy features including a show floor map, session schedules, and speaker bios. To add your agenda, select the gear icon in the upper right corner of the app then tap "sync my schedule."
  • RSVP for special events: We're hosting a range of receptions and activities with limited seating. Sign up now to save your spot.

Getting In

  • Give yourself time: As a reminder:
    • Registration opens at 8 a.m.
    • The conference opens at 8:30 or 9 a.m. (depending on the day).
    • The expo opens at 10 a.m. (Hall E opens early at 9:30 a.m.)

In addition to allowing for time to get your badge, add in some time to park and find your way.

  • Where to park: Good news in 2020. This year you not only get free parking at Angel Stadium but there will be a registration kiosk there, too. Get your badge, then hop on one of the (many) shuttles running all day. Further parking options can be found in detail here.
  • Getting your badge: Main registration is located in Hall E. If you only need to pick up your badge, there will also be registration kiosks in the lobbies outside Halls A, B, C, D (in addition to Angel Stadium).

Once You're On-Site

The Anaheim Convention Center totals 813,000 square feet which means good shoes are top priority. In addition to showing up hydrated and ready to cruise the floor, take some time to get the lay of the land by reviewing the floor plan. Here are some other helpful on-site tips:

  • Finding suppliers and products: As mentioned above, the event app is an excellent resource for finding exactly who and what you're looking for. But if you err on the side of analog, printed directories will be available at registration.
  • Exploring the expo: The expo is nothing short of expansive. That's a good thing for you but you'll want to be sure you:
    • Review all features on the Expo Activities & Education page.
    • Review what's on at the Center Stage, Tech Theater, MD&M Innovations Lab, The Snack Shack, Design Dome, and Career Zone, then add it to your agenda.
    • Get the app and use the "What's on Now" feature for updates on sessions happening in real time.
    • And we'll say it again for good measure, get to know the floor plan to make it easier on yourself.
  • Where to eat: When hunger strikes, you've got options both on- and off-site. Have a sit-down meal or grab a quick slice.
  • Where to take a breather: Have a bite, make some notes, or take a meeting at the Expo Café in the back of Hall E. The Networking Zone next door will also offer a place to sit and have a chat when speed networking isn't taking place.
